 Welcome to Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.- NewRock Chapter's website! We are a dynamic group of women who have been making a positive impact on the lives of citizens of Newton, Rockdale, Henry, and DeKalb counties since June 3, 2018. Our dedication to community programming resulted in our chapter winning National awards in every program category in 2023! I hope that you will find our various partnerships, programmatic thrusts, and projects valuable and our activities will inspire you to become more engaged in your local community. We are extremely proud of our award-winning Top Teens of America chapter whose service and leadership skills have been recognized locally, in our area, and nationally. Our commitment aligns with the theme "NewRock, New Heights...Honoring Our History, Focusing on Our Legacy" and we are constantly reflecting on the rich history of our organization while constantly seeking additional and innovative ways to to serve communities near and far. Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. – NewRock Chapter was chartered June 3, 2018 as the vision of Dee Dawkins-Haigler, Debbie Hillman, Joy Jackson-Guilford, Tisa Smart-Washington, and Sherri Washington.  Along with 28 other women, the organizers chartered NewRock Chapter under the guidance of Lady Drema Lee Woldman, TLOD's 13th National President and Lady Crystal Pittman, TLOD's 11th National Area IV Director. This chartering established NewRock as the third TLOD chapter in metropolitan Atlanta. Under the leadership of organizer and first president Sherri Washington, NewRock charted a Top Teens of America (TTA) chapter August 26, 2018 to provide a service and leadership-oriented organization for youth ages 13-18.  NewRock continually focuses on advocacy and community engagement that mobilizes the talents, energies, and skills of members to address moral and social issues affecting women and youth even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

NewRock Chapter, along with our award-winning TTA chapter, continues to make an indelible mark in Newton, Rockdale, DeKalb, and Henry Counties and attracts diverse women and youth whose personal missions align with national programmatic thrusts and projects that promote “Continuity of Service in ACTION."

We do this by creating community initiatives that empower women, enhance youths, promote health and welfare, improve quality of life for senior citizens, build and foster community partnerships and promote community beautification.
